Hondón de las Nieves is located in a small valley in the Middle Vinalopó county, within the province of Alicante, 35 km far away from is main city. The town is located on 367 m height above sea level, its extension is 68.9 km2 and comprises the districts of La Canalosa, El Rebalso and “La Montañosa” urbanization.

The valley has in the South a backdrop, the magnificent silhouette of the Sierra de Crevillent (la Vella 835 m), with its lush shady pine forest, while the majestic Sierra de l’Algaiat (Peña la Mina, 1053 m) is the one that encloses and protects the valley on the North side the north, emerging from their lofty peaks on rural landscape of  almond, olive trees and vineyards.

The village center has a pedestrian street where the Village Square Plaza de la Villa, where the Town hall is located, of great interest for visitors, due its clock tower. This Square framed by large palm trees and where housing often save traditional architecture. In this place you can find the majority of shops, bars and cafes.
